LEAD STORY…Dedication of the Harry M. Smith III Early Childhood Center…

As loyal readers may already know, the Harry M. Smith III Early Childhood Center at the Hugh J. Boyd Jr. Elementary School in Seaside Heights was formally dedicated June 1st, 2007 to honor his service of 25-years as the President of the Seaside Heights Board of Education. Of course , I, webmaster Pete Smith, am the current Vice-President of the Seaside Heights BOE, and Harry M. Smith III is my late father, so this is especially meaningful to me. In the above photo I am posed in front of the marquee sign on the big day with my four brothers from left to right: Harry, David, Paul, Phil and me. We took video footage of the dedication, and it will be posted on youtube.com and this site within the next few days.
