Happy 50th birthday Madonna…

August 24, 2008

This cake was served in honor of Madonna’s 50th birthday party, Sunday August 16th.

Happy 50th birthday Madonna:  A sheet cake was cut, and a long line of party-goers enjoyed a slice during the Madonna 50th Birthday party and film festival Sunday August 16th. To celebrate the milestone birthday of the living legend, three Madonna films: Desperately Seeking Susan, Evita, and Swept Away were shown in a triple feature starting at dark. Many persons stopped by at some point in the celebration, which was held at Hiering Avenue as part of the Free Movies on the Beach series.  Unfortunately, Madonna herself wasn’t even able to celebrate on her own big day. An injury caused her to move her own celebration at her estate in London to later in the month.
