Luna Rosa New Year’s Eve Fun: Luna Rosa restaurant owners Carmine and Stephanie DiRosa were in attendance for both booked seatings New Years Eve. Luna Rosa has two seatings on this night, a calm 6 p.m. and “crazy as usual” 9 p.m. seating. Luna Rosa will soon be hosting a very special event. Owner Carmine says, “On Friday January 25th we are having ” AN EVENING IN UBRIA” . Every year we pick a region of Italy and write a 5 course menu with foods and wines from that region. The cost is $80.00 per person which includes tax and gratuity. Seats are limited. If you have questions or would like to make reservation, please e-mail me at lunarosanj@aol.com.

2008 is the year of Joe Loundy: Now graduated from the University of Tampa, Joe Loundy is making his mark in the liquor business. Since graduating, Joe has taken the helm at three Loundy-family owned establishments: Seaside and Surf Liquors in Seaside Heights, and also Lavallette Liquors on Route 35 North. Joe is very happy to be working in the family business, began by his parents Jamie and Joanne Loundy. Get used to seeing Joe, as he has agreed to be featured in a series of blogs and articles about his first full-year on the job in 2008.

March 16th (Sunday) Palm Sunday Egg Hunt, 1 p.m. on the beach. Divided by age groups. Locations to be announced.

March 23rd (Sunday) Easter Promenade and Easter Outfit Contest for cash money prizes. 1 p.m. at the Franklin Avenue Pavilion stage or Beachcomber if rain.

Free Music Mondays and Free Movies on the Beach returning for Summer of 2008. We will announce our 2008 schedule in late April.
