Sun breaks through clouds in time for 2008 St. Pat’s Parade!

BIG CROWDS greeted the 2008 St.Patrick’s Parade Day in Seaside Heights. Despite earlier predictions of bad weather, fair skies prevailed before, during and after parade time.

BIG MONEY was made by Seaside Heights Fire Auxiliary at their pretzel sale during the parade, which resulted in a record $606.00 profit. This is three times the take-in from 2007, and thanks are in order to the tremendous efforts of all the workers.

SHFD Auxiliary Business Advisor Kim Samarelli (with daughter Samantha) developed the idea for a pretzel stand, which did even better than she predicted.
