See Berardi Family: Recently, our cameras caught up with longtime Webster Avenue residents Rich and Diane Berardi having dinner with their beautiful daughter Cassie. Cassie is the middle Berardi child, coming in between older son Rich, and younger daughter Lizzie. Cassie and Lizzie both worked last summer at Surf Taco in Seaside Park. Although the Seaside Park Surf Taco is closed for the season, Cassie has continued on at the Jackson Surf Taco where she is a cocktail waitress.

Meet Marilyn Lennon: Recently, our cameras caught up with Marilyn Lennon, who is the Planner for Seaside Heights. Marilyn works closely with our local Planning Board and with the Redevelopment Agency. Currently, the Redevelopment Agency is exploring some exciting projects that could be a big benefit to the Borough of Seaside Heights. Marilyn is always friendly, and is a wealth of information. Marilyn has a little known claim to fame. She was featured on the very first edition of Seaside Heights News Magazine popartpete.com, which launched January 1, 2004.

New windows at Aztec…

New windows are seen being installed at the Aztec Ocean Resort, part of renovation projects underway at the waterfront hotel.

New windows for the Aztec: Last week, workmen were seen working at the Aztec Ocean Resort, Sherman Avenue & The Boardwalk. 24 windows were replaced on the Ocean Terrace side of the hotel. According to Aztec owner Louis Moscatiello, the windows are just one part of a current renovation project in preparation for 2008. First event of the new year for the Aztec will be the 15th Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Bear Plunge to benefit Special Olympics. The event will be in its second year in Seaside Heights in 2008, and is scheduled for Saturday February 23rd.
