Casino Pier, Borough of Seaside Heights to get new digital signs…

Longtime Seaside Heights boardwalk-goers will might remember the mesmerizing digital sign at Grant Avenue and The Boardwalk promoting the Casino Pier. Well now the sign is returning. Cranes were recently seen adding the sign above Kohr’s Frozen Custard. Soon the sign will be electrified, and once again will be sending out its constant, almost hypnotic messages. The boardwalk sign was popular in the 1980’s, but hasn’t been around for many years. Coincidentally, another digital sign is slated to make its appearance in the next few weeks. The marquee sign at the entrance to the Borough at Sumner Avenue will be replaced with a digital face, and will reportedly give time, temperature, as well as announcing special events. $15,000 for the sign was donated by Commerce Bank.
